Briony Marsh...X
We love Briony Marsh here at Tiger and Goat..we love everything about her - her beautiful easy to wear designs, her original prints, her ethos, her caring and giving personality, her passion for Indian production, her use of bling..okay okay you get the idea- We LOVE her. So you can imagine how thrilled we were when Briony agreed to come to T&G for a VIP night to talk about her inspiration for this season's styles to a small group of customers! Bliss...and as one of my gorgeous customers remarked after spending time with Briony on the night..how could you not now emotionally connect with this designer and her amazing creations. X

2 Senoritas...LOVE X
We are always on the look out for new up and coming designers here at T&G so that we can offer our gorgeous customers a point of difference from other boutiques in the area..so you can imagine how excited we were to be the very first boutique in Australia to represent 2 Senorita's. This coolio new label is the creative baby of two hip young Melbourne girls who wanted to design easy to wear pieces that they could wear all day every day..well we think they've nailed it.

I LOVE it when the fashion shows are on...in any city, any country, any town for that matter as it means for me that I get to see what all the designers, stylist's, bloggers, magazine editors, off duty models, photographers, make up artist's etc etc etc are wearing to and from the shows and gain total inspiration for my own wardrobe...LOVE IT!!

Last week I spent the morning helping a gorgeous customer de-clutter; style advise and revamp her wardrobe so that she had a clear idea of how to pull easy and chic outfits together from what she already owned that not only suited her lifestyle but her look; as well as highlight items that she could look at investing in; and the toughest part - helping her say goodbye to some pieces that had seen better days. Minimum 3 hours at $120 per hour...but for the month of August we are offering 3 hours for $300. X

With my recent move back to Australia, after many years living in Europe, a friend suggested I visit Emma at Tiger and Goat to update my wardrobe with some new pieces. I quickly fell in love with her style and keen eye for upcoming fashions...
When Emma spoke of offering the wardrobe makeover service I was keen to have her visit as soon as possible and I was not disappointed. In only a matter of a few hours Emma was able to point out what was to stay and all that should go. We spoke of cuts, fabrics and colours that suited me, and my lifestyle. It was both a fun and cathartic experience. Emma also compiled a list of pieces that I should purchase that would compliment and bring freshness to what I already possessed.

Next Summer....X
One of the difficult things I find about buying International labels for T&G is the fact that you have to buy the collections 12 months out..and when I say difficult I don't mean because I am concerned about trends changing in that amount of time..oh no I mean difficult in the fact that I am now dreaming about styles that I have to wait a whole year before I can rock out in them!!
Well with such collections as these..no wonder I am impatient!

While it states we're in the second month of Winter on the calendar we here at T&G are receiving all of our gorgeous new Spring collections from overseas..and the forecast is bright..very bright!
